March in the southern hemisphere is a time of clear skies, crisp autumn weather and warm sunshine, and March 31st, 2024 is also the Easter Weekend in most western countries, the Chinese Association of North Shore City Auckland New Zealand and the Auckland City Council jointly organized the "Harmony in Dance-A Celebration of Multicultural New Zealand" event at Rewi Alley Park. More than 10 communities in Auckland's North Shore participated in this multicultural event.
南半球的三月，天高云淡，秋高气爽，暖阳普照。2024年3月31日适逢西方大多数国家的复活节，北岸华人协会和Auckland City Council携手合作，在路易.艾黎公园举办了丰富多彩的“融合之舞-新西兰多元文化庆典”活动。奥克兰北岸十多个社区踊跃参与了这场多元文化交流盛会。
At noon, the square where the statue of Rewi Alley stands in the Park on North Shore was filled with many guests. Rewi Alley is a New Zealander, who has made remarkable contributions to help the Chinese people in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, the construction of New China and the friendly exchanges between China and New Zealand in his whole life, and he is acknoledged by the Chinese people as one of the top ten international friends. Multicultural Celebration at Rewi Alley Park is to promote the spirit of Rewi Alley, tell the story of Rewi Alley, and strenghthen relationship between people of China and New Zealand for generations.
中午时分，位于奥克兰北岸的路易.艾黎公园一改往日的宁静，中外来宾络绎不绝的陆续进入矗立着路易.艾黎雕像广场。路易.艾黎先生是新西兰人，他的一生为帮助中国人民的抗日战争、解放战争、建设新中国以及中新友好交往做出了卓越贡献，被中国人民赞誉为十大国际友好人士。在路易.艾黎公园举办多元文化庆典活动，就是要弘扬艾黎精神，讲好艾黎故事，让中新两国人民世世代代友好往来。
At 12:30 p.m., the Choir from North Shore Chinese Association kicked off the celebration, when the New Zealand National Anthem and the Chinese National Anthem echoed in the sky of the park the the audience was enthused instantly.
中午12：30分，北岸华人协会合唱团演出拉开了庆典活动序幕，当委婉优美的新西兰国歌和雄壮激昂的中国国歌回荡在艾黎公园上空时，瞬间点燃了现场观众热情。
Subsequently, the on-site cultural performances were even more brilliant, with songs and dances, Beijing Opera, Huangmei Opera, modeling, sketches, poetry recitation, male soloists, martial arts performances, etc., which showed the profound heritage of Chinese culture in foreign countries.
随后的现场文艺表演更是精彩纷呈，歌舞、京剧、黄梅戏、模特走秀、小品、诗朗诵、男声独唱、武术表演等先后登台，把中华文化的深厚底蕴展示在异国他乡。
At the same time in the cultural performances, famous Chinese medicine practitioners on-site hall free clinic for residents, who came to seek medical advice to answer questions, acupuncture and massage. Patients received professional diagnosis and treatment recommendations on site. Experiential activities such as Indian Henna Tattoo, Flax weaving and home garden mini-market also inspired many participants.
在文艺表演的同时，著名中医现场座堂义诊，为慕名前来寻医问药的众人答疑解惑、针灸按摩，针对不同就医者提出诊治建议方案。印度Henna Tattoo、亚麻编制、家庭花园小市场等体验活动也激发了众多参与者的极大兴致。
The event aimed to promote multicultural integration, showcase the charm of multiculturalism and enhance multi-ethnic friendly exchanges. The event not only demonstrated the rich connotation of multiculturalism, but also laid the foundation for multiculturalism to intermingle and appreciate each other, greatly releasing the goodwill of Chinese compatriots who aspire to peace, friendship and unity.
此次活动旨在促进多元文化融合，展示多元文化魅力，增进多民族友好交流。不仅展示了多元文化的丰富内涵，同时奠定了多元文化互相交融，互相欣赏的基础，极大的释放了华人侨胞向往和平、友谊、团结的善意。
