景在眼前 心在路上——奥克兰北岸华人协会第七期徒步活动圆满结束

2025年10月26日，奥克兰北岸华人协会成功举办了第七期徒步活动，22位徒步爱好者齐聚东区风景秀丽的 Pakuranga Rotary Walkway（扶轮社步道），共同度过了一个充满自然之美与友情之乐的难忘周日。

On October 26, 2025, the Auckland North Shore Chinese Association successfully held its seventh hiking event, bringing together 22 hiking enthusiasts at the scenic Pakuranga Rotary Walkway in Auckland’s eastern suburbs. Participants enjoyed an unforgettable Sunday filled with the beauty of nature and the joy of friendship.

上午10点，大家陆续抵达步道起点集合。天公似乎也想与大家开个玩笑，九点半左右乌云翻滚，细雨淅沥，然而就在活动开始之际，云开雾散、阳光破晓，空气格外清新。徒友们在清爽的微风中合影留念后，精神饱满地踏上了这段美丽的滨海之旅。

At 10 a.m., participants gradually gathered at the starting point of the walkway. It seemed as though the weather was playing a little joke on everyone — around 9:30, dark clouds rolled in and a light drizzle began to fall. Yet, just as the event was about to start, the clouds lifted and the sun broke through, filling the air with a refreshing crispness. After taking a group photo in the gentle breeze, the hikers, full of energy and enthusiasm, set off on their beautiful coastal journey.

一、滨水绿廊 风景如画

1. Waterfront Greenway — A Scenic Delight

Rotary Walkway位于奥克兰东区，起点接近 Panmure Bridge（潘缪尔大桥），沿着 Tāmaki 河口（Tāmaki Estuary） 东岸延伸，是一条典型的滨水生态步道。

The Rotary Walkway, located in Auckland’s eastern suburbs, begins near the Panmure Bridge and stretches along the eastern shore of the Tāmaki Estuary. It is a quintessential example of a waterfront ecological trail, offering picturesque views of lush greenery and tranquil waters.

东临居民区，西侧紧贴河湾，串联起 Pakuranga 与Half Moon Bay 两地，全长约10公里，是东奥克兰最受欢迎的亲水步行与骑行路线之一。步道沿途自然景观与人文印迹交织。可见早年农场遗址与牲畜站（cattle yards） 的痕迹，静静诉说着 Pakuranga 地区的农业往昔；靠近 Panmure 大桥，还留有旧桥遗迹，见证了区域交通的发展变迁。近年来，步道沿线新添了多处 公共艺术装置与雕塑作品，艺术与自然相融，为这条绿道增添了独特的人文气息。

To the east lies a quiet residential area, while the west borders the river’s gentle curves, linking Pakuranga and Half Moon Bay over a stretch of about 10 kilometers. It is one of East Auckland’s most popular waterside walking and cycling routes. Along the way, natural scenery blends harmoniously with traces of local history.

Remnants of old farms and cattle yards can still be found, quietly telling the story of Pakuranga’s agricultural past. Near the Panmure Bridge, relics of the old bridge remain, standing as witnesses to the evolution of regional transportation. In recent years, a number of public art installations and sculptures have been added along the trail, seamlessly integrating art and nature, and infusing the greenway with a distinctive cultural charm.

这条步道的建设，源于Pakuranga 扶轮社（Rotary Club of Pakuranga） 会员与社区志愿者的共同努力，在市议会与赞助机构的支持下分阶段完成。它不仅是一条休闲之路，更是见证社区发展与团结精神的“活历史”，承载着奥克兰居民对自然与文化的热爱。

The creation of this walkway was the result of the joint efforts of the Rotary Club of Pakuranga members and community volunteers, completed in stages with the support of the Auckland Council and various sponsors. It is not merely a recreational trail, but a “living history” that bears witness to the community’s development and spirit of unity, embodying Aucklanders’ enduring love for both nature and culture.

二、行走之间 心旷神怡

  当天徒步全程约10公里，历时3个多小时。行走其间，仿佛徜徉在一幅流动的滨海画卷中。步道一侧碧波荡漾、白帆点点，游艇与划船训练在阳光下闪烁光影；海鸟低掠水面，捕食、嬉戏的画面灵动可爱。另一侧，错落有致，风格迥异的别墅掩映在繁花绿树之间，构成一幅宁静温馨的社区景象。放眼远眺，对岸的Panmure 与 Point England 河湾风光尽收眼底，火山锥 Mt Wellington（Maungarei）的优美剪影，为这段旅程增添了雄浑气势。徒友们一边行走，一边欣赏美景，欢声笑语不断，沿途拍照打卡、互相留影，记录下这段惬意与温馨的旅程。

The entire hike covered about 10 kilometers and lasted just over three hours. Walking along the path felt like moving through a living coastal painting. On one side, rippling blue waters shimmered under the sunlight, dotted with white sails, yachts, and rowing teams gliding gracefully across the estuary; seabirds skimmed the surface, diving and playing in scenes full of life. On the other side, charming villas of diverse styles nestled among blooming flowers and lush trees, forming a tranquil and picturesque neighborhood view.

Looking into the distance, the Panmure and Point England bays stretched across the horizon, while the elegant silhouette of Mt Wellington (Maungarei) added a sense of majesty to the landscape. The hikers, chatting and laughing as they walked, paused along the way to take photos and capture the beauty of the moment — preserving the joy and serenity of this delightful coastal journey.

三、收获满满 情谊更浓

  这次徒步活动，不仅让大家在大自然中放松身心、强健体魄，更增进了会员之间的了解与友谊，增强了协会团队的凝聚力与归属感。行程结束，大家依依不舍地道别，纷纷表示意犹未尽，期待下一次相聚在新的风景线上“下次再见，不见不散！”——这句温暖的话语，成为活动最动人的收尾。

3. Enriched Experience, Strengthened Bonds

This hiking event not only allowed participants to relax and rejuvenate amidst nature while enhancing their physical wellbeing, but also deepened mutual understanding and friendship among members, strengthening the sense of unity and belonging within the association.

As the journey came to an end, everyone exchanged warm farewells, reluctant to part. Many expressed how much they had enjoyed the day and looked forward to meeting again on another scenic trail.

“See you next time — we’ll be there!” — this heartfelt phrase became the most touching conclusion to a day filled with laughter, camaraderie
