月圆共婵娟 侨社情更浓——奥克兰北岸华人协会迎中秋文艺演出精彩落幕

中秋佳节是中华民族四大传统佳节之一。自古以来，世代炎黄子孙在农历八月十五的良宵佳节里，仰望同一轮皎洁明月，寄托着对家庭团圆的期盼和对生活美满的祝愿。明月承载着中国人千百年来不变的情感共鸣。

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the four major traditional festivals of the Chinese nation. Since ancient times, generations of Chinese people have gazed at the same bright full moon on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month, expressing their longing for family reunion and their wishes for a happy and fulfilling life. The bright moon carries the timeless emotional resonance that has connected the hearts of Chinese people for thousands of years.

月满人间情更浓，歌舞声声映彩虹。中秋节前夕，2025年9月21日，远在南半球的长白云之乡，奥克兰北岸华人协会在西湖女校隆重举办了“中秋月圆夜，侨社共婵娟” 文艺演出活动。500多位侨社同胞和当地各界友人，华人侨领欢聚一堂。以歌舞传情，用艺术抒怀，不仅表达了对祖国的深切思念、对亲人的无限牵挂，更展现了对中华优秀传统文化的坚守与传承。在异国他乡，这份共庆佳节的温情与团聚，不仅温暖人心，也让中华文化的芬芳在海外持续绽放，彰显了对中华优秀传统文化的坚守与传承。

When the moon is full, human feelings grow stronger, and songs and dances paint the night like a rainbow. On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, September 21, 2025, in the distant land under the long white clouds of the Southern Hemisphere, the Auckland North Shore Chinese Association held a grand cultural performance titled “A Full Moon Night, United in Celebration” at Westlake Girls High School.

More than 500 members of the Chinese community, local friends, and Chinese community leaders gathered together to celebrate. Through songs and dances, they expressed deep affection, homesickness, and their heartfelt longing for family and the motherland. The performances also embodied the enduring spirit of preserving and passing on China’s rich cultural heritage.

In a foreign land, this warm gathering to celebrate a shared festival not only touched hearts but also allowed the fragrance of Chinese culture to continue blooming overseas — a vivid testament to the community’s commitment to carrying forward the best of Chinese traditions.

Jessica Phuang, Ethnic Responsiveness Manager, along with several city councillors and regional council candidates, delivered passionate speeches extending Mid-Autumn Festival greetings to the Chinese community. They highly praised the Chinese associations for their active contributions in preserving traditional culture, uniting the Chinese diaspora, and promoting exchanges between China and New Zealand.

In his address, Yan Feng, President of the Auckland North Shore Chinese Association, extended festive greetings to the guests and community members, expressing his vision for solidarity, mutual support, and the building of a harmonious community. He also encouraged association members to cherish their civic rights and actively participate in the ongoing local elections, making their voices heard and voting enthusiastically for a better Auckland.

More than 20 Chinese community organizations from across the Auckland region presented outstanding performances for the event. Renowned hosts Ryan Fraser and Luna Lu, with their poised and engaging bilingual (Chinese-English) presentation, skillfully emceed the entire cultural gala.

在文艺演出正式开始之前，主办方特别安排了寓意吉祥如意、红红火火的舞狮点睛仪式。冯琳主任、市长Wayne Brown以及北岸华人协会会长闫枫共同执笔，为舞狮点睛，赋予狮子灵性，寄寓兴旺与平安。随着锣鼓声骤然响起，两头神采奕奕的狮子腾挪跃动，时而翻腾跳跃，时而憨态可掬。矫健灵动的舞狮表演生动展现了中华民族传统艺术的独特魅力，大头娃娃舞起大秧歌与舞狮同台献艺，相映成趣，现场洋溢着一派节日的欢庆气氛。瞬间点燃了现场观众的热情，掌声、喝彩声此起彼伏，为整场文艺演出拉开了热烈而喜庆的序幕。

Before the official start of the cultural performance, the organizers held a traditional “Dotting the Lion’s Eyes” ceremony — a ritual symbolizing good fortune and prosperity. Director Feng Lin, Mayor Wayne Brown, and President Yan Feng of the North Shore Chinese Association jointly dipped their brushes to bring the lions to life, bestowing them with spirit and vitality while conveying wishes for prosperity and peace.

As the sound of gongs and drums suddenly filled the hall, two vibrant lions came to life — leaping and spinning energetically, alternating between powerful movements and playful gestures. The agile and spirited lion dance vividly showcased the unique charm of traditional Chinese art. Accompanied by the big-headed doll dance and yangko performance, the stage came alive with color and joy. The festive atmosphere quickly ignited the audience’s enthusiasm — waves of applause and cheers followed one after another, marking a lively and jubilant opening for the entire evening’s celebration.

紧随其后的，是一场涵盖舞蹈、声乐、戏曲、模特、武术及特色表演的文艺大联展，总共26个节目轮番登台，为观众献上一场中西荟萃、雅俗共赏的艺术盛宴。舞蹈板块最为亮眼，15个舞蹈类节目各具特色。从古典舞的婉约到民族舞的热烈，从《扇舞韵》、《半壶纱》的典雅隽永，到《维族姑娘》、《靓东北》的地域风情，《马缨花》、《梅朵》、《莫尼山》，色彩绚丽、舞姿奔放，展现了少数民族的热情与豪迈，仿佛把观众带入高原草甸与山川花海之间。以唯美抒情为特色的《相遇》、《苹果香》，舞步轻盈，意境悠远，用舞蹈讲述人与人之间的邂逅与情感交织，流露出诗意般的柔美。突出吉庆氛围的《吉祥四季》，热烈欢快，传递出节日般的喜庆气息与对美好生活的祝愿。具有时代情怀与艺术张力的《珊瑚颂》、《三拜红尘凉》，一个歌颂自然之美与家国情怀，一个则以古典元素诉说红尘感悟，展现了舞蹈跨越时空的感染力。而古韵新风的《莲花亭》，则通过模特走秀与舞蹈的结合，将汉服之美与舞台表现相融，呈现出独特的东方神韵。再到《天上的西藏》、《维也纳森林》的壮阔多彩，全面展现了中华舞蹈艺术的灵动与多姿。声乐节目则以深情与豪迈交织，三首作品《外国电影歌曲联奏》、《爱永在》、《二十年后再相会》旋律悠扬，既唱出了思念与友谊，又凸显出国际风范与东方情怀。戏曲环节同样引人注目。《梁祝·十八相送》细腻婉转，尽显越剧柔情；《红灯记》选段铿锵有力，彰显京剧豪迈。两台节目一柔一刚，相映成辉，将国粹艺术的独特魅力展现得淋漓尽致。模特走秀节目《秋梦》、《莲花亭》则以优雅姿态结合汉服之美，为观众带来了一场古韵与新风交织的视觉享受。在武术与太极的表演中，《陈氏太极二十二式》和《杨氏28式太极扇》以行云流水、刚柔并济的动作，生动诠释了中华武术的神韵与太极文化的博大精深。两台特色表演，芭蕾舞《梦之芭蕾》与鼓乐作品《战马》，一个轻盈唯美，一个热烈奔放，东西方艺术在舞台上激情碰撞，赢得观众阵阵掌声。这些作品题材多样、风格各异，却在同一舞台交相辉映，共同勾勒出侨社艺术的多元风貌。

Following the opening ceremony was a grand cultural showcase featuring 26 performances across a wide range of art forms — including dance, vocal music, opera, modeling, martial arts, and specialty acts. Together, they offered the audience a feast of art that harmoniously blended Eastern and Western aesthetics, appealing to both refined and popular tastes.

The dance segment was particularly dazzling, with 15 distinctive performances. From the grace of classical dance to the vibrancy of ethnic styles, from the elegance of “Charm of the Fan Dance” and “Half a Jar of Silk” to the regional flair of “Uyghur Maidens” and “Charming Northeast”, each piece exuded unique cultural colors. Works such as “Maying Flowers,” “Meiduo,” and “Monishan” burst with vivid hues and exuberant movements, portraying the passion and boldness of China’s ethnic minorities — as if transporting the audience to vast plateaus and seas of blossoms.

With their lyrical beauty, “Encounter” and “Apple Fragrance” captured delicate human emotions through light, flowing movements, evoking poetic tenderness and the subtle intertwining of fate. “Auspicious Four Seasons” conveyed festive joy and blessings for a happy life through its lively rhythms and jubilant choreography.

Pieces rich in contemporary sentiment and artistic tension, such as “Ode to Coral” and “Three Bows to the Mortal World,” celebrated both nature and homeland, blending traditional motifs with philosophical reflection — showcasing the timeless emotional power of dance. The innovative “Lotus Pavilion” fused Hanfu fashion modeling with dance performance, presenting the refined grace and spiritual charm of the East. Expansive works like “Tibet in the Sky” and “Vienna Forest” displayed the dynamism and diversity of Chinese dance in full splendor.

The vocal performances were equally captivating. With pieces such as “Foreign Film Songs Medley,” “Love Forever,” and “Reunion After Twenty Years,” the singers intertwined tenderness and grandeur, conveying affection, friendship, and a harmonious blend of international flair and Eastern sentiment.

The opera segment drew much attention as well. The Yue opera piece “Farewell in the Butterfly Lovers” was delicate and lyrical, while the Peking opera excerpt from “The Red Lantern” was sonorous and powerful. The two, soft and strong, complemented each other perfectly, vividly expressing the essence of traditional Chinese opera.

In the modeling performances, “Autumn Dream” and “Lotus Pavilion” combined elegant stage presence with the beauty of Hanfu, bringing audiences a visual delight that merged classical charm with modern style.

In the martial arts and Tai Chi showcases, “Chen-Style Tai Chi 22 Forms” and “Yang-Style Tai Chi Fan 28 Forms” flowed with grace and strength, embodying the spirit of Chinese martial arts and the profound philosophy of Tai Chi.

Two specialty performances — the ballet “Dream Ballet” and the percussion piece “War Horse” — formed a striking contrast: one graceful and ethereal, the other fiery and powerful, presenting a passionate encounter between Eastern and Western art forms.

Diverse in theme and style, these performances illuminated the stage in harmony, together painting a vivid portrait of the artistic vitality and cultural richness of the overseas Chinese community.

两个多小时的演出在观众热烈的掌声中圆满落幕。舞台上的歌声舞影与场下的欢声笑语交织在一起，留下了侨社中秋最温馨的记忆。此次活动不仅为华人社区奉献了一场文化盛宴，更进一步增进了奥克兰华社之间的情谊，展现了华人社团凝聚侨心、服务社区的初心与使命。

  在这花好月圆的美好季节，侨社同庆、共叙乡情，既是对中华传统文化的弘扬与传承，也是对多元文化交流与团结的生动诠释。正如一位观众动情地说：“人在异乡，能与这么多朋友一起喜迎中秋，心里真的很温暖。”

After more than two hours of captivating performances, the gala concluded successfully amid warm applause from the audience. The songs and dances on stage intertwined with the laughter and joy off stage, leaving behind the most heartwarming memories of the Mid-Autumn Festival within the overseas Chinese community. This event not only presented a cultural feast for the Chinese community but also further strengthened the bonds among Auckland’s Chinese associations, reflecting their shared mission of unity, mutual support, and dedicated service to the community.

In this beautiful season of blooming flowers and a full moon, the community’s collective celebration and shared reminiscence of homeland affection symbolized both the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture and a vivid expression of multicultural harmony and unity. As one audience member said with emotion, “Being far from home, it truly warms my heart to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with so many friends here.”

  本次活动的成功举办，离不开志愿者台前幕后的辛勤付出。当天上午10点左右，大批志愿者已经赶到现场，装台布景、调试音响、协调车辆，有条不紊的推进各项前期工作。从筹备到谢幕，他们始终坚守岗位，来得最早、走得最晚，在他们的默默奉献下，这场凝聚侨心、共度中秋的盛会才能如此圆满呈现。

The success of this event was inseparable from the hard work and dedication of the volunteers, both on stage and behind the scenes. Around 10 a.m. on the day of the event, a large number of volunteers had already arrived at the venue to set up the stage, adjust the sound system, and coordinate transportation, efficiently and methodically carrying out all the preparatory tasks. From planning to curtain call, they remained steadfast at their posts—arriving the earliest and leaving the latest. It was through their quiet dedication and tireless efforts that this grand Mid-Autumn celebration, uniting the hearts of the Chinese community, was able to unfold so successfully.

月圆人团圆，情深意更长。这份在异乡凝聚的温暖与感动，不仅展示了侨社的才艺与凝聚力，更传递了团圆、和谐与共融的价值，必将化作照亮侨社前行的明月华光。让我们携手并肩，继续书写中新友谊和侨社发展的新篇章。
